Only three boats were built in this class, D-1 (S-11), D-2 (S-21), and D-3 (S-22), all by SECN-Sociedad Espagnola de Construcciones Navales, Cartagena. launched from 1921 to 1923.
D-1 (S-11), laid down September 23, 1933, launched May 11, 1944, commissioned March 17, 1947.
D-2 (S-21), laid down November 19, 1934, launched December 12, 1944, commissioned May 23, 1951.
D-3 (S-22), laid down December 11, 1934, launched February 20, 1952, commissioned February 20,1954.
