British Royal Navy HMS Triumph S-93, SSN
HMS Triumph is the last of seven boats ordered in the Trafalgar class, all built by Vickers Shipbuilding & Engineering Ltd (VSEL), in Barrow,andcommissioned between 1983 and 1991.
Triumph was laid down on February 2, 1987; launched on February 16, 1991 and commissioned October 12, 1991.
In 1993 she sailed to Australia in traveling 41,000 n/miles submerged without any forward support - the longest ever solo deployment by a nuclear submarine.
