British Royal Navy HMS Tabard S-42, to Australia and back A T-class submarine, group 2, built by Scotts, Greenock. Launched November 21, 1945. Refitted at Cockatoo Dockyard, Sydney, Australia and recommissioned there on March 27, 1962. Served with RAN for eight years. Left Australia on March 22, 1968, arrived in Gosport, England on June 11 via Pacific Ocean and Panama Canal. Spent the next 5 years as a static display at HMS Dolphin, the Royal Navy`s submarine museum. Scrapped March 1974.
